The Third Annual South Louisiana Dragway Reunion will again feature the Bayou Country Car Cruise on Saturday November 23rd, taking cruisers on a ride through beautiful Cajun Territory while they witness historical sites unique to this area.

 

The Cruise event will begin at the Houma Area Convention & Visitors Bureau located at 114 Tourist Drive, Gray, LA. 70359. We will line up cruise cars at the Bureau from 10am to 1:30pm while we serve all participants a complimentary bowl of Cajun Jambalaya while listening to good music onsite. At 1:45pm the Police Escorted Parade will take off and head downtown past the Courthouse Square.

 

The 2019 Bayou Cruise will also include a Poker Run.

Each car entry for the Bayou Cruise will be $10.

Each entry will include one Poker Hand, and a unique Participant Decal.

 

Additional Poker Hands can also be purchased for $10 each. Great prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd best poker hands.

 

NHRA Top Fuel master, World Champion Mark Oswald, will once again host an Open House directly across the street from the Visitor Center at his personal race car shop. While visiting with Mark, you will see the wall to wall arrangement of NHRA National event trophies and World Championship trophies he has won throughout his impeccable career.

The Bayou Country Car Cruise will end at the Hooters Parking Lot where we will award the Poker Run Prizes, have Meet & Greet tents set up, and at 7pm fire up the Top Fuel Dragsters, Funny Cars and Gassers. Don't miss it, bring your rides out and be part of the event.
